1. Simulated Sunlight
Damage to material durability is primarily caused by the sun's ultraviolet rays, which produce very little energy in the visible or infrared spectrum. We can choose UV lamps with different wavelengths according to different test requirements, because the total energy and wavelength of UV radiation in each lamp tube are different. Generally, UV lamps can be divided into two types: UVA and UVB.
2. UV Lamp Type
UVA-340 lamp tube: UVA-340 lamp tube can well simulate the short-wave ultraviolet rays in sunlight, that is, the sunlight whose cut-off wavelength is 365nm to 295nm.
UVB-313 lamps: UVB-313 lamps generally emit short-wave ultraviolet rays that are stronger than the sun's ultraviolet radiation on the earth's surface, which can accelerate material aging to the greatest extent.
UVA-351 lamp: simulates the ultraviolet sunlight through the window, which is the most effective for testing the aging of indoor materials.
